J. HOWARD DUFF
J. hails from Ridgeland, S.C. He has been a local since 1998 and has performed in countless venues throughout the Lowcountry. He's a Rock, Blues, and Gospel artist who records for both Nice Jacket Records and BongoBoy Records.Originally from the NY/NJ Metro area, J. has been a professional musician most of his life. He has played with or opened shows for such luminaries as Bruce Springsteen, Chuck Berry, Twisted Sister, Blackfoot, The J. Geils Band, Black Flag, Rick Derringer, and Canned Heat.J.'s repetoire consists of over 400 songs. He's a seasoned storyteller, and audiences delight in his anecdotes, backstories, and the history of the music he performs.He specializes in the songs of the Sixties, with a smattering of Fifties oldies, Seventies Rock and Soul, and a healthy dose of the Blues.
